Game 1: The U18 tournament started with the Southern Gauteng Sabres vs the Northern Gauteng Warriors, the Warriors coming out on top 42. A very well played first period by the Warriors conceding 0 goals and scoring 4. The Sabres did very well to defend off the Warriors for the next 2 periods.
Game 2: The second match of the tournament was between the Sabres and hosts Western Province. Western Province came out tops 222. The Sabres goal keeper, in his attempt to hold off Western Province in the first period, and the defensemen doing a great job, could not withstand the onslaught of Western Province's
speed on attack and goal-scoring ability.
Game 3: In game 3 Western Province continued their dominance with a 140 win over Gauteng.
The All-star game was a close one, ending in a penalty shoot out.
