A very successful AGM was held on Sunday 18 Jan. We had over and above our quorum percentage that we needed and wish to thank everyone who made an effort to attend. I will send the minutes out to everyone as soon as they are finished.
Our new committee is as follows:
- President - Maurizio Naggi
- Vice President - Pam van Rahden
- Secretary - Cathy Goodwin
- Players Representative - Greg Williams
- Active member - to be announced - Fernando Rueda
- Development and women in sport - Marina Louw
Congratulations to everyone. We look forward to a good 2009.
We are still looking for a Treasurer - if anyone knows someone who would be willing to help out, please let myself or Maurizio know.
NEWS
Registration will be on Sunday 25th at 08h30. We need to have everyone registered before they are allowed on the ice. Also if the players owe any fees for 2008 this needs to be paid up IN FULL before you will be allowed on the ice. SENIORS you are not exempt from this, you need to register and pay outstanding fees.
Practice times for a Sundays have changed, from 09h00 to 08h30. Players in all age groups are asked to be at the rink 1/2 hour before their practice begins. You will ALL have to sign an attendance register each practice. Practice for the seniors and U18 players will end at 11h30.
Practice then begins on Monday night, the 26 January from 18h30 onwards, just as usual. This will happen until we begin with league games.
A recap of the fees are:
- R400 registration and R2400 for 2009
- R400 registration and R2300 if paid directly into our account by the end of January.
- R400 registration and R240 per month if paid by post-dated cheque or stop order (proof of stop order to be given to a committee member).
